Electrolysis of water to power a DC motor?

can you use a cathode and anode in water, with a 9 volt battery for the power of electrolysis,.....when the hydrogen and oxygen is produced by splitting, how can you make this power a dc motor? how can you make the hydrogen powere a dc motor?
