Japanese shoulder piece on a woman?

I have the koi, waterfall, lotus, and dragons gate on my back. It is very true you dont often see women with arm sleeves but I am starting to see them more often. I was going to get a henna pattern tattoo the length of my arm but then everyone was getting stars so I was glad I didnt get to it yet. If it is good work and you can wear it with pride everyday then go for it. Your idea is full of meaning and if you know the meaning of it then you can understand that peticular scene can only be worn well by those strong enough to wear it.
