Why is everyone hating on favre?

everyone is now sayin that favre shoulda retired a few years ago and hes only in it now for the records b/c hes 38 and still playin but if u look at the fact 8 other hall of fame qbs were still around at 38 and including the 4 of the 5 "great ones" (the 5 are montana, marino, elway, young, and favre) were still playin at age 38 so my question is why does everyone seem to be disliking favre so much?
