GUYS HELP!! What should i do?

so if anyone could just give me some advice on this situation im in that would be great..so me and this guy were friends and i really really liked him and i thought he liked me to so i gave it a shot and told him how i felt. When i told him he told me that he liked me to. so i asked what he thinks we should do and he said he wanted to give it a shot and see if it would work. So i got excited. Well we've been hanging out for like a month and im starting to get antsy and i want to know where the relationship is going...are we gonna date? am i going to fast...shouldn't he have said something by now?
