How did my sister get chicken pox?

My two year old sister seems to have chicken pox, yet there is no one that she has been in contact with that has had the virus recently. We even asked the local chemist whether or not anyone had come in regarding chickenpox in the last few weeks, and they said no. Where could she have acquired it from?
